
Neal Barnard, M.D., is a clinical researcher, professor, author, and health advocate. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Medicine at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, a Life Member of the American Medical Association, and a member of the American Diabetes Association. Dr. Barnard has authored dozens of publications in science and medical journals as well as numerous books including his NY Times bestseller, "Dr. Neal Barnard's Program for Reversing Diabetes," and "21-Day Weight Loss Kickstart," which were both the basis for his first and second national PBS specials respectively.
Dr. Barnard is founder and president of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) a non-profit organization that promotes preventive medicine.
